Paolo Vivaldi
Paolo Vivaldi, composer of soundtracks, graduated in Composition from the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia. In addition to important film works such as Non Essere Cattivo by Claudio Caligari and Il Permesso by Claudio Amendola, he is a prolific composer for successful TV series, such as Rino Gaetano, Olivetti, La Forza di un Sogno, Pietro Mennea, La Freccia del Sud, Luisa Spagnoli, the two seasons of “La vita promessa” and the very recent Rinascere and Giustizia per tutti. He currently teaches Music for Images at the Conservatory of Latina, the Conservatory of Monopoli and at the Saint Louis College of Music in Rome. Winner of six “Sonora” awards, three for “Colonnesonore.net”, he was also nominated for best musician at the David di Donatello for Non Essere Cattivo. Axel Ranisch
Axel Ranisch, originally from Berlin, studied directing at the Konrad Wolf Film University Babelsberg from 2004 to 2011, and his films have subsequently been screened at numerous film festivals. He works in television, is an actor, records podcasts, and is also a successful writer (his debut novel is Nacht über Berlin). In 2013, Axel Ranisch brought The Bear / La voix humaine to the stage of the Bavarian State Opera in Munich. Since then, he has staged operas, operettas, and musicals at major theaters in Hanover, Hildesheim, Stuttgart, Lyon, and Hamburg. He wrote the libretto and directed the world premiere of Elena Kats-Chernin's comic opera George. To mark the 75th anniversary of the Komische Oper Berlin in 2022, he created the theater's celebratory gala. In 2018, he began creating theater performances for young people with the production of Konrad oder Das Kind aus der Konservenbüchse, based on Christine Nöstlinger's book, at the Theater an der Parkaue. Antonia Bain
Antonia Bain is a Scottish writer and director based in Glasgow. She has made innovative films for award-winning museums, compelling music videos for exciting new bands, vibrant and engaging content for major cultural events, and compelling short documentaries about opera singers. She launched Scottish Opera's digital film series with composer Samuel Bordoli, creating The Narcissistic Fish, the first opera short film to win a digital classical music award in 2020. She has made several narrative and experimental short films that have screened at festivals around the world.
