A great Argentine musician of Italian origin, born in the early 1900s, mysteriously dies at a young age. Rodolfo Zanni was only 26 years old, credited with a prodigious career and an impressive musical output. At the time of his death, however, all his works had vanished. His body was nowhere to be found. What had happened?
One of his descendants, a lawyer, decides to shed light on the mystery. He asks the great tenor and actor Fabio Armiliato (who starred in films by Woody Allen and Ettore Scola) and the young composer Francesco Leineri to travel to Argentina and explore archives and testimonies for answers.
The investigation will reveal surprising and disturbing background information. Rodolfo Zanni was the target of a war waged by dark forces, intent on erasing his existence and his music.
Why this relentless desire to erase every trace of this talented artist? Who was he harassing? Whose interests had he threatened?
Little by little, the enigma unfolds and offers the viewer a glimpse into the reasons for his persecution.
